Pears and Angels
Exhibit featuring the paintings of Judith Babcock, November-December 2009
Artist’s reception November 6th 2009 from 6-9 pm
Judith Babcock is a native Denver artist and is a member of various
professional organizations including Oil Painters of America and Plein
Air Artists Colorado and student of Boris Shoshensky.
Judith Babcock’s work is refreshing and smart. Pairing unlike images as a
narrative produces an unusual visual treat. Her bold palette and
vibrant impressionistic brush strokes creates a dynamic impression of images
woven together in a rich tapestry of textures and colors
elevating the mundane to the sublime.
